You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you to go and bear fruit, fruit that will last. Then the Father will give you whatever you ask in my name. John 15:16

As it was in the Days of Noah

“Just as it was in the days of Noah, so also will it be in the days of the Son of Man.” Luke 17.26

People of Noah’s days loved pleasure more than God. They loved to eat, drink, marry and get married, they loved buying and selling and building and constructing… but didn't give a dime about God and Godliness. The same was true in the time of Lot. So the entire generation rejected Noah and his preaching for repentance. "Then the flood came and destroyed them all." While the Ark was provided for whosoever that was willing to enter, the world was held by daily activities of this life till Noah and family entered and God shut the door. The cares of this life kept entire generations from knowing the time to come to destiny!

But Noah found grace in the eyes of God. In what way can you find favour with God today? In an unrighteous, difficult world, Noah remained righteous. That's it! Does God demand righteousness from people of today? The Ark today is a type of the body of Christ — the Church. What have you done with the place of refuge provided by God? Have you received Christ as your Saviour? "Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon." Isaiah 55.7
