You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you to go and bear fruit, fruit that will last. Then the Father will give you whatever you ask in my name. John 15:16

Discover Who You Are

Why are you doing what you are doing today? I believe God is not unconnected with your love for this area you found yourself serving actively, especially now, you have Christ in you.

Jesus when he was only 12 had known the purpose of the Father for His life. When the parents found him in the temple back in Jerusalem, He asked with a clear purpose — "wist ye not that I must be about my Father's business?" Christ did not go to do His own business. His answer at that tender age shows He knew the purpose for His life. Yet Christ did not for the purpose, disobey parents and caretakers. Christ later stated and pursued the purpose — to seek and save the lost, and to give life and give it to us more abundantly. Should we today be ignorant of the purpose of God for our lives?

John the Baptist knew the purpose for his life, he refused to admit to be the Christ, or any other person other than himself — a voice from the wilderness. His ministry was to make crooked ways straight for the Christ. He was not the Christ.

Apostle Paul discovered his purpose and declared "That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death". For the excellency of knowing Christ this deep, he counted all other things as nothing! He penned down 13 out of 27 books of the New Testament.

Child of God, your purpose is in Christ. Yours is still yours in Him. Many who have found their purpose never dragged any physical thing. They knew it’s a spiritual gift within them, no one else could take from them. Your purpose is within you.
