You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you to go and bear fruit, fruit that will last. Then the Father will give you whatever you ask in my name. John 15:16

Occupy Till I Come

"And he called his ten servants, and delivered them ten pounds, and said unto them, Occupy till I come." (Luke 19:13)

Before Christ ascended onto heaven, He gave His followers what we know today as the Great Commission "...go and make disciples of all nations..." We are in all the nations preaching the gospel of peace, but do we teach the saints as much to occupy till Christ comes?

Ten is a number for human government. So the Lord wants his servants to occupy as well, so as to consolidate the gains of the gospel of the Kingdom. When the righteous is in power, people rejoice, and when the wicked bear rule, people mourn (Prov 29:2).

Jericho today is no longer a Christian nation, despite its great deliverance. How about Jordan, Turkey, Bethlehem of Judea, Samaria, Syria, Ethiopia, Macedonia, Libya etc? Christians must aspire to be the head and not tails even in matters of governance, this is to occupy.
